Alpharag Artcare by Nielsen Bainbridge

Alpharag is made from a pure cotton rag pulp and offers one of the highest quality mats available. Alpharag has a solid consistent color throughout and is fade and bleed resistant with color consistency for colors that stay true for the life of your art.

Alpharag is strongly recommended for fine art prints, limited editions, valuable documents, photographs, and all other archival matting needs.

Alpharag Artcare
Alpharag protects artwork from pollutant gasses and from acid by products within the frame using the Artcare process. The pure cotton pulp used is acid free and lignin free and is buffered to maintain an alkaline PH balance.

4 ply Thickness (.050-.060)
All Mats are cut at a 45 Degree Bevel.

Alpharag - DOUBLE MAT Order Form

To order double mats, please first select the size of the bottom mat, then the color of the top mat, the color of the bottom mat and the quantity. We cut double mats with a 1/4 inch reveal between the top mat and bottom mat (1/2 inch larger opening for the top mat). For example, if your bottom mat has an opening of 7.5x9.5 the top opening would be cut to 8x10

The top and bottom mats show up as different line items in the shopping cart. If you make changes for quantities, you will need to change both lines.
