MAT INSPIRATIONS
» Holidays - The holiday season always seems to sneak up when we're
least expecting it. This year, instead of fighting the crowds at the mall, snap a
couple pictures from your point and shoot, blow them up to 8" by 10," mat them,
frame them and make give them away. It's a cheaper and more creative gift then
most.
» Empty spaces - Closets and bathrooms are often overlooked as places
where art belongs. But a large color photo will spice up the inside of a boring, white
closet door better than just a hook to hang your coat on. You could also create a
bathroom picture wall for all those miscellaneous photos you love, but that just
don't fit into your living room or kitchen.
